What Does CASE Mean in the Context of Papercrafting?
Used as an acronym, CASE stands for:
-
Copy and Share Everything
-
Copy and Selectively Edit
-
Copy and Slightly Edit
-
The best way to learn and grow as a crafter; a great way to kickstart creative mojo & energy flow
I made up that definition, by the way, and yes, I know it doesn't meet the criteria of an acronym. lol =)
My CASE Philosophy: What's Mine is Yours
CASE means different things to different people, and that’s okay! However you define it, I invite you to CASE my projects in whatever way inspires you—whether it’s an exact match or a variation. My creations are yours to take, make, and share.
You don’t need my permission, and you don’t need to credit me—though if you do, I always appreciate it! I won’t chase down CASEd projects looking for recognition. Why? Because I know firsthand that sometimes, creativity needs a jumpstart.
When I lost my crafting mojo for years, returning to my craft room felt overwhelming—even intimidating. The only way I rebuilt my skills was through CASEing. At first, I copied projects detail-for-detail, unsure if I’d ever design something original again. Even today, I sometimes feel that way! But by CASEing, I found rhythm, confidence, and new ideas of my own. And guess what? There are still plenty of times when I create an exact replica of a project I love.
So, CASE away, my crafty friends... CASE AWAY!!!
=)
Happy Crafting!
