The Stampin' Up! Back to Back Blooms Stamp Set is ideal for creating bold and detailed floral images. This is a Reversible Two-Step Stampin' set -- it allows you to add depth, texture, and dimension to your stamped images. For this card, however, I went with a scaled-back simpler look by stamping the outline stamp in a somewhat tone-on-tone color scheme directly to DSP in like colors.
Stamp Sets: Back to Back Blooms, Simply Succulents (for sentiment)
Cardstock: Thick White, White, Old Olive
Designer Series Pape (DSP)r: Subtles 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) DSP
Ink Pads: Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Old Olive
Embellishments: Artistry Blooms Sequins
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder, acrylic stamping blocks
Stamping Directly on DSP
Card Base: Bermuda Bay (5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4")
Layer #1: Old Olive (5 1/4" x 3 1/2")
Layer #2: Petal Pink Sheet of DSP (5" x 3")
Layer #3: So Saffron Sheet of DSP (4 1/2" x 2 1/2")
Large Flower: Petal Pink Sheet of DSP
Leaves: Soft Seafoam Sheet of DSP
Sentiment: White (small piece / scrap approximately 2 3/4" x 3/4")
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all paper as described above
On Layer #3 Petal Pink DSP, stamp two (2) of the large flower image directly on the DSP in Mango Melody Ink (these will be hidden by the layers on top, so stamp the images centrally to add to the background)
Stamp one large flower on the Petal Pink DSP in Calypso Coral ink
Stamp four (1) leaves on the Soft Sea Foam DSP in Old Olive ink
Fussy cut the large flower and four leaves
Adhere Layer #1 Old Olive cardstock to the card base
Adhere Layer #2 Petal Pink DSP on top of Layer #1
Adhere the large Petal Pink flower in the center of the previous layers
Tuck the leaves in behid the large flower and adhere in place (I adhered a leaf down on the left and right side of the flower with liquid glue and the remaining leaves, again on each side of the large flower, with Stampin' Dimensionals (mini or cut pieces of the standard size dimensionals)
Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock in Old Olive ink; trim the sentiment to size, and adhere to the top of the card front
Adorn the card front with Artistry Blooms Sequins
