Stampin' Up! Eden's Garden Celebration Card for the Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

For my card, I am taking you through a stroll of an alternate version of Eden's Garden.

The tale of the Garden of Eden transcends the boundaries of a single belief system. Numerous accounts and adaptations of Eden’s events have appeared in numerous religions, legends and lore, ancient mythology, and more!

Enter Eden’s Garden! This delightful and desirable collection includes early-release products from the January–June 2022 Mini Catalog—a bundle of stamps and dies that’s blooming with beauty and bounty. Stems, sprigs, berries, and twigs abound in the beautiful collection.

Now on to my brightly colored card for the blog hop...

The Eden's Garden collection features colors you'd expect in such a surreal place -- Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, gold foil, and Soft Succulent. But, I chose the sentiment, "Let's Celebrate Everything" and I thought it called for a bright pop of color. And what color does the trick? Magenta Madness, of course!

  • VersaMark WaterMark Stamp Pad (embossing ink)

• Cardstock:

  • Basic White

  • Basic Black

  • Blending Brush

  • Wink of Stella® Clear Glitter Brush

• Ribbon & Trim:

  • Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (Black)

• Embellishments:

  • 2021-2023 In Color Jewels, Black Matte Dots

• Embossing Powder:

  • Basics Embossing Powder (black)

• Adhesives:

  • Stampin' Seal (or Stampin' Seal+)

  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue

  • Stampin' Dimensionals and/or Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

  • Mini Glue Dots

  • Low tack tape for holding dies in place when running them through the die cutting machine, such as:

    • Washi tape

    • Spellbinders - Best Ever Craft Tape* (yes, that is what it is named and it is my favorite tape)

    • Low Tack Artist Tape by Scotch®*

• Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder, acrylic stamping blocks

• Anti-Static Powder Pouch or Tool (such as EK Success Powder Tool* or Ranger Ink Anti-Static Pouch*)

• Take Your Pick (the putty end makes picking up and adhering gems/sequins super easy!)

• Heat Embossing

Cardstock Measurements (Imperial)

• Card Base: Basic Black measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

• Layer #1: Basic White measuring 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"

• Layer #2: Magenta Madness (long scrap will suffice to use with the border die)

• Layer #3 - Inside: Basic White measuring 5 1/4" x 4"

• Stamping & Die Cutting: Basic White
